It’s almost spring! To celebrate, I’m sharing four pieces to buy now and wear later too. As a blogger it’s difficult to find pieces to share that are available over a period of time. By the time you buy the item, recieve it in the mail, take the photos, and share on social media it’s sold out. Luckily these four items are available now and can be worn for both spring AND summer. They are perfect to wear for spring right now and can easily transition to summer later! Watch the video at the end for inspiration!
As a fashion blogger and influencer, I have experienced the growth of fashion bloggers and influencers myself. I have been in this field for about 3 years now and the growth has been exponential! When I first started out I didn’t know what I was doing. I would share random photos of my shoes in the snow, or a photo of a dress that cropped my face off when posted on Instagram. Thank the Lord things have changed drastically since then!

What’s something good that happened for you in 2020?
In a year of social distancing, anxiety, separation from family/loved ones, discrimination, injustice and a multitude of other things there’s no need to say that it was a difficult year for most of us. Looking back on this year there were both good and bad times for all of us. It was a year marked with confusion and uncertainty, but amidst these things, I am looking back on all the positive things that have happened in 2020. This is my 2020 year recap.
Asheville, North Carolina
If you’ve heard of Asheville, North Carolina it probably had something to do with either breweries or the Biltmore Estate. If so, it would be pretty accurate! Asheville is home to the famous Biltmore Estate as well as numerous different breweries and part of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s a charming little town with plenty of places to get food and drinks and beautiful mountain views just minutes outside of the city. In this Asheville, North Carolina travel guide I talk about where to go, places to get food and drinks, and where we stayed during our visit.
TRAVEL GUIDE: What to pack for a North Carolina road trip
It’s August 2020 and we are still in the midst of residual COVID-19 restrictions and limitations on travel. But it has been 9 months since Andrew and I have done any sort of major “traveling” (3 months since the beach), and we’re dying to go somewhere. So him and I are taking a mini road trip to Asheville, North Carolina and the Blue Ridge Mountains! Asheville is only about 3 1/2 hours away from us, but we still want to be fully prepared for the road trip no matter how small. So I created a checklist of everything I want and need to bring for the trip to make sure I don’t miss anything on the way out! I organized my checklist into categories so that I don’t mix anything up or overlook anything.
Vital Proteins, Matcha, and Collagen.
I’m sure heard of these three things individually, but have you heard them all together? Yes it’s possible! It’s Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen Powder. I’ve seen influencers and everyday people alike sharing this green collagen powder on Instagram and I was intrigued, so I decided to try it myself. Now I’m not much of a cook, baker, or any sort of food/drink expert so when I tried getting creative with this powder, it was a bunch of trial and error. xD But I found this one that stuck with me and I wanted to share it with you because I think you’ll like it too. It’s a blueberry pomegranate matcha collagen drink, and I am drinking it right now as I sit here writing this post. 😛 (gotta get in the daily dose of collagen right?)
$200 Target Giveaway!
With everything happening lately, I wanted the opportunity to give back to someone in need. So I’ve teamed up with a couple blogger ladies on Instagram to give one lucky winner a $200 gift card to Target!* There is a PayPal option available if $200 in money would be more helpful than a gift card in the current times.
The giveaway rules are super simple. Here’s how to enter:
So much is changing all over the world today and it’s all happening so quickly. The scare and panic of Coronavirus (COVID-19) is taking the world by storm. We’re at the point now where a large majority of the population is working from home, or getting time off from school and classes. Everyone is encouraged (and possibly soon required) to practice social distancing – avoiding contact with others as much as possible. But with all this extra time at home, what is there to do? There’s only so much you can do before you get bored right? Or maybe you’re ALREADY bored. I totally understand. That’s why I put together this list of things to do at home during Coronavirus to keep the boredom away.
