It was supposed to be a Sunday Funday this week – introducing a friend to Passion City Church, and then going to the first ever Atlanta blogger closet sale in Alpharetta, meeting some of the top bloggers from the Atlanta area! I had everything planned out – I had my hair curled, nails done, and outfits laid out the night before. But come morning time, the moment I woke up things started going differently. My friend bailed from church last minute, and I ended up getting to church late not even being able to sit with my other friend. So already off to a not-so-great start. But after church was the blogger closet sale!
At the end of September, I was graciously invited to my first blogger meetup where I had the chance to meet this wonderful group of ladies and make new friends. I knew we would be taking photos for the ‘Gram, and I wanted to make a good impression on these ladies, so obviously I wanted to look good (minus my hair, because it’s always being dumb)! I felt fairly confident in the outfit I put together… at least at first.
I’m sure we can all agree…
That fall is an all-around amazing time of year. The vibrant colors of the leaves, the smell of cinnamon and pumpkin, and the perfect weather for busting out those adorable sweaters and boots you’ve been waiting all summer to show off.
But how do you stand out in an ocean of oversized sweaters, knee high boots, and suede skirts? With a statement piece that will catch their attention, duh! So enter JORD – a company that makes GORGEOUS watches from 13 varieties of unique, natural woods.
I’m sure you’ve heard the rule about picturing potential purchases with items you already own, right?! Whenever you find something you’re thinking about buying, you should always picture it with at least 3 items you currently own. Doing this allows you to gauge how often you’ll wear it, and the CPW (cost per wear) for it. If you buy a cute skirt that you can only wear with one specific shirt, how often are you really going to wear it?! Say you pay $30 for that skirt and wear it twice — that’s costing you $15 each time you wear it! If you’re a budget shopper like me, you definitely want to get the CPW as low as possible. Another way to do this is to shop with coupons, or sales only! I rarely ever pay full price for an item!!
Mother’s Day has passed, you’ve gotten mom the perfect gift, and now you have a bridal shower or birthday event to go to. Or maybe you’ve been on that hustle for so long you deserve to treat yourself *wink*. Adulting is hard!! Amiright?! You’re constantly on the struggle bus hunting for the perfect gift for you or your ladies, but can’t ever seem to find the right one. Have no fear, for perfume is here! Whomever you’re celebrating, share a little (or a lot) of love with these three incredible fragrances. Here are three of my favorite perfumes out now that you or your besties are sure to love (and a couple bonus scents if these don’t entice you)!
If you’re anything like me, you always want to have a bomb birthday that you’ll remember for awhile. Well this definitely was! And at the right time too – my super special 25th! It had been nearly a year and a half since I had been to the beach, so I was extra excited to take this mini-vacay for my birthday. Not to mention, I got to spend the entire weekend with my man, who I rarely get to see! Needless to say, I had to plan my outfits with my passion in mind — starting a fashion blog and Instagram account to inspire people.
